My Background
What if I told you I created my own major at NYU Gallatin? I studied The Evolution of Self Presentation As A Narrative. Long story short, it was a study of how the way humans present ourselves through art, fashion, and now social media, has evolved to become a narrative we can actively wield. I extensively analyzed art and fashion history across different cultures, and integrated more modern studies of how we perceive one another to understand how one can intentionally construct narratives around these perceptions.

After taking the first job I was offered out of college, which was ad sales, I quickly realized I wanted to do something more creative. I landed a video writing internship at Insider and readily learned how to pitch, write scripts, produce shoots in-field and remotely, and even edit. I loved all aspects of production – storytelling is truly my forte and putting a visual narrative together is what I do best. I'd always had an eye for photography and videography, and now, I mastered recording voice-overs, conducting interviews, hosting on-camera, and got very inventive when it came to creating b-roll for niche topics. I’m very grateful for the many hands-on opportunities I've had to master my skills.
